Burnside Village Announces New VIKTORIA & WOODS Boutique

Burnside Village is pleased to announce the opening the newest VIKTORIA & WOODS boutique. The corner-site destination marks the brand’s seventeenth bricks-and-mortar store nationally and serves as a key anchor for Burnside Village’s Australian and international designer precinct.

Designed by long-standing collaborator Annabel Kerr, the Burnside Boutique builds on the refined sensibility established at the brand’s Rundle Street space. With an emphasis on clean lines and a crisp, open floor plan, the store embraces understated sophistication and allows the VIKTORIA & WOODS aesthetic to shine in its purest form. Throughout the space, the signature hue of Newport blue is explored in varied finishes — from textural accents to high-gloss highlights — creating visual intrigue and depth.

A curated palette of intersecting materials introduces further tactile contrast, while carefully positioned lighting subtly guides the customer journey. The boutique features custom, communal seating and a bespoke cantilevered point of sale designed by Zak Frenkel, creating a warm, elevated environment that encourages a considered retail experience.

True to the brand’s commitment to championing Australian creatives, the Burnside Boutique features artisan work by Henry Wilson, Zachary Frenkel, Skye Jamison and Kerryn Levy, as well as decorative lighting by Volker Haug and curated vintage furniture pieces. Together, these elements reinforce VIKTORIA & WOODS’ enduring ethos; thoughtful, ethical design with a uniquely Australian perspective.
